I was excited about trying the Organic Radiance Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir . I am a 66-year-old female with combination skin living in Florida. I enjoy spending time out in our beautiful sunny weather. I have taken pride in taking good care of my skin for years.
When the package arrived, I was surprised to open it up and find a small bottle that was to last me at least a month! But I found that one pump goes a long way. It is very rich and creamy, goes on very easily and is absorbed very quickly. It has a fragrance that reminds me of my old hippy days, musky, with a little sandalwood.
I was really impressed by the formulation. It has all my favorites: vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid (an antioxidant that protects skin cells and helps minimize lines), hyaluronic acid (which helps promote collagen formation), free radical eliminator COQ10, vitamin-packed Sea Buchthorn oil, peptides and much more.
After using the elixir twice a day for a couple of weeks, even my yoga instructor remarked on how good my skin was looking (without makeup). I have been very pleased with how soft, yet firm and smooth my skin feels. I like the healthy glow my skin has now. There has definitely been an improvement in the fine lines around my mouth and eyes.
If I had any complaint about the product, it would be that sometimes it is difficult to get the thick, rich cream to pump out of the bottle. The big question is would I buy it in the future? Yes, yes, yes! I love this product.

You know that old Dusty Springfield song, “Wishing and Hoping?” If you were young when it came out, then you are probably about my age (somewhere around sixty) and, like me, this song plays in your head every time you open a new skin care product. Such was the case when Truth In Aging asked me to test the original formula of Organic Radiance Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir last fall.
I was very excited after reading the list of what I knew to be very effective anti-aging ingredients and seeing that it was all vegan and cruelty-free. This formula did not disappoint. In fact, I loved it so much that I continued to purchase and use it every day after the trial.
Recently, TIA informed me that Organic Radiance updated their formula and asked me to test it again. I sure wasn’t looking for anything new, but was anxious to see how my favorite product could be improved so I again agreed. I was a little disappointed to see that the new formula’s ingredient list did not included the coveted vegan “silk” amino acids, but it does contain an amino acid blend. Hmm... I wonder how similar they are.
The updated Organic Radiance Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir retains most of the important anti-aging ingredients, including brightening vitamin C, organic rosehip seed oil, hyaluronic acid and alpha lipoic acid as well as loads organic botanicals that were found in the original.
Like the original formula, this blend also feels rich and absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. I really did like the scent of the original formula — which was fresh and herbal — but this formulation has practically no smell in comparison.
I applied the elixir immediately after cleansing and before any other serums or moisturizers, because I've learned that vitamin C and hyaluronic acid help boost the efficacy of products applied after them. However, because of all of the potent anti-aging boosters this elixir contains, the need for a slew of other products (other than a good moisturizer) has been greatly reduced.
I find that since using Organic Radiance my skin is smoother, more even-toned and brighter. I’m very pleased with the results! Sure, there may not be a miracle product that completely eliminates wrinkles at my age — no matter how much I wish and hope — but I feel that the appearance of my lines and grooves has lessened and they certainly haven't gotten deeper. My take is that the new version of Organic Radiance Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir continues to support the improvement in my skin that the original formula started.

I was thrilled to test the reformulation of Organic Radiance Ultra-Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir , since my fifty-something skin responded so positively to the original formula. This creamy elixir is still organic and vegan-friendly, with only natural preservatives. The big difference is that it now contains an even more impressive list of antioxidants, vitamins, peptides, plant stem cells, amino acids, and oils.
Some of my favorite additions include youth-boosting niacinamide, cranberry seed oil, and camellia seed oil. My breakout-prone skin has responded well to niacinamide in the past, and it certainly reaped the benefits from this elixir. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is known to reduce inflammation and hyperpigmentation from sun spots and post-acne discoloration, as well as calm rosacea, reduce wrinkles, and protect against UV damage. The antioxidant-rich combo of cranberry seed oil and camellia seed oil further augments the moisturizing effect of the other oils and botanical hyaluronic acid. The list of ingredients is truly impressive and the benefits are all detailed on the Organic Radiance website.
The rich cream melts beautifully into skin and only rarely did I feel the need to apply an additional moisturizer over top. Ever fearful of breakouts and mild rosacea flare-ups, I happily suffered no increase in blemishes, redness or inflammation while testing the Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir. Overall, my skin tone, texture, and elasticity have gradually improved, but a stubborn upper lip crease has shown no improvement. I also can’t say for certain if my sunspots have faded — time will tell.
I’m very pleased that Organic Radiance addressed the two issues that detracted from my positive experience with the original formula: the color and scent. I was shocked to see that this elixir is still such a bright pumpkin color; however, it disappears right into the skin — no more yellow tint left on my fair complexion! While the scent is still not what I would call pleasant — a bit spicy-earthy-fruity — it is much more tolerable and dissipates very quickly. I have a sensitive nose and am unaware of the scent within a minute of application.
I’m so pleased with the improvements to this wonderful elixir and the effects it has on my mature skin. It’s at a reasonable price point and it takes just a little to smooth over your entire face. I definitely recommend this product — even having to wrestle with the bottle wouldn’t deter me from purchasing this potent anti-ager.
A child of the sixties now in my sixties, my skin tone is now tone-deaf and fine lines are wrinkles! I’m drawn to skin care promises like hippies to Woodstock. So when TIA asked me to try Organic Radiance Ultra Nourishing Anti-Aging Elixir, it was like being offered tickets to see The Beatles!
An avid label reader, I like the organic, chemical-free list of known anti-aging combatants in this product. The Elixir is a dense cocktail of many of the ingredients I have learned to seek for skin rejuvenation. It contains vitamins C & E and hyaluronic acid, my three favorites, plus many others that intensify their effects, such as CoQ10, MSM, Shea Butter and Alpha Lipoic Acid. ALA is claimed to be an even stronger anti-aging force than my three stand-bys. Also, I have been practicing aromatherapy, mixing my own concoctions for forty years, and was happy to see that certain essential oils known to improve skin are also in there, like carrot seed and geranium oils, with other antioxidant oils, such as hempseed, jojoba and pomegranate. Pomegranate has been proven to reverse sun damage (sign of a life well lived!) and is also said to offer limited sun protection.
I can’t list or describe all of the many awesome ingredients packed into this little bottle. They combine to make a pleasant, fresh smell and the elixir is rich, yet absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. A little goes a long way — two pumps for my face and neck. I used it prior to applying other products, because hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are a good base, helping to activate subsequent products. I also feel I can eliminate some other members of my gigantic skin care brigade, because this one product packs so many anti-aging heavy-hitters into it.
After a week of use, I noticed an increased clarity in my skin; it looks hydrated, with a more even skin tone I think it’s too late for any product to eliminate my wrinkles, but they look diminished around my mouth (my main concern). As I continued to use it, the more improvement I saw.
The bottle states the product is vegan and cruelty-free, a must for me; I would not hurt an animal to satisfy my own vanity. But what about the silk proteins? I’ve heard a lot of good about them helping to restore collagen, but I knew I would not use this again if it involves snuffing silk worms out of their cocoons. So, I contacted the company. Here’s their response:
“We are aware that silk amino acids are primarily sourced and derived from silk worms. As we are a cruelty free facility, we do not support this avenue as our source. Our potent and beautiful silk amino acids are derived from a natural fermentation process utilizing a plant substrate such as molasses. Our amino acids are cultivated in a lab by wage earning free and self empowered human beings rather than by enslaved, disempowered and oppressed silk worms. In our world, beauty is not cruel.
Each amino acid is made from plant sources and is painstakingly purified. These amino acids are then carefully blended to match the optimum amino acid composition in collagen. By utilizing the unique delivery system in this amino acid blend, the skin now has available the amino acids necessary to beautify and repair itself on a daily basis.”
Wow. Not only am I very pleased with the results of this product, but I’m ecstatic I can take advantage of cruelty-free silk amino acids benefits for increasing collagen. All-natural ingredients, packed with tons of proven antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients, pleasant to use and effective. And how groovy that you can feel good knowing no animal has been harmed in your quest to improve your appearance!
